We’ve got a pretty collaborative team around here. We’re always asking for opinions and gathering collective input, and we actually really like working with each other. But even still, the most popular place in our office isn’t the conference table — it’s around the candy jar. Rather, the candy drawer.
So what does it say about us that we have a candy drawer?

Well, for one, we’re all about the esprit de corps. We want to work hard while having fun. It helps that we have great clients, but candy always sweetens the work.
We also like to think that we’re young (or at least young at heart), and so we don’t yet care about how the candy drawer may be sabotaging our “diets.” Plus, we’ve got games like our affectionately named Jesus Ball to keep us fit.
Lastly, our determination to assuage our sweet tooth is undaunted by the fact that the drawer is tucked away inside the office of our ultra-scary human-resource director. No set of obstacles or Keeper of the Candy can intimidate us. We’re not afraid to be bold and face challenges as they come — and that translates into the work we do.
And while we could eat 11 mini Snickers, three Peppermint Patties and four Tootsie Pops if we really wanted to, we think the old adage is true: Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should. We like to think strategically, whether that means projecting how we’ll feel after 16 Reese’s Cups or considering how best to tell a client’s story.
Now what does our fully stocked beer fridge say about us? Well, I’ll leave that one for another time. And someone else.
